Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, I offer secure video sessions for clients located in New York and New Jersey. Teletherapy allows you to attend sessions from the comfort of your home, while still receiving the same level of care and support.
Therapy is a space to get honest—with yourself, your history, and your hopes for the future. In our early sessions, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, how things have felt over time, and what you’re hoping to shift. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting—just showing up is the first step.
Together, we’ll explore the ways your past may be showing up in your present, and begin building the skills and insight to move forward. I’m here to offer structure when you need it, reflection when you’re unsure, and support when things feel heavy. Often, we’ll slow things down to ask: “Let the future deal with that—what can the present teach you?”
And if you ever find yourself resisting change or unsure of your progress, that’s okay. You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge—but once you do, the work becomes possible. Therapy is rarely linear, but with time, consistency, and care, real and lasting growth can happen.
Yes, I’m in-network with several major insurance plans through , Headway. If you’d like to check your benefits, I can provide a link to verify your coverage before we schedule a full intake.
My private pay rate is $95 per 50-minute session. I can also provide superbills if you have out-of-network benefits and would like to seek reimbursement.
I currently work with adolescents (typically ages 13 and up), adults, and couples. I do not currently offer therapy for children under 12.
Everyone’s process is different. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others engage in longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and build lasting change. We’ll discuss your goals together and check in regularly about your progress.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency. Depending on your needs and goals, we may shift to biweekly over time.

Yes, confidentiality is a core part of the therapeutic relationship. Everything we discuss in sessions stays between us, with a few legal exceptions related to safety, which I’ll review with you during our first session.
You can start by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to talk briefly about what you’re looking for and how I can help. From there, we can schedule your first full session.
